LION SCOUT
Registration Fee

Pack 153 tries to be completely transparent in regards to the fees we collect. In order to recharter each year the pack has to pay dues per scout to Boy Scouts of America (BSA) as well as Three Fires Council (TFC), which is the local arm. The total registration fee per scout is $155. Pack 153 has no control over these fees, and is not returned any portion of them.

Pack 153 also has to raise money to cover the costs of events, awards, badges, crafts, and activities. The second half of your scouts dues covers this. "A scout is thrifty." So we keep our budget as lean as possible, and we try to keep the total fee for our new Lion scouts as low as we can. The discounted total for the year, which includes the BSA/TFC dues for a new Lion scout is $215. This includes a T-shirt. We also have discounts for siblings.

Every family is in a different financial situation. If the cost of joining is a barrier for your child to participate, please contact us about options.

"A scout is thrifty." So we keep our budget as lean as possible. The second half of Pack 153's dues is $200 per scout. We have discounts for new Lion scouts, and siblings.

REGISTRATION FEES

Great news!
Because a significant portion of the school year has already passed, you will not be responsible for any dues this year. Dues for the upcoming school year will begin in August.

NEW SCOUT

Our popcorn drive is finished. Unfortunately you will no longer be able to offset your dues for this year by selling popcorn.
